Sweatshop starts work with Jason White- December News
Thursday, December 19, 2013 As we close this year of work at The Sweatshop, I'm so thankful for the great art that I've been able to be witness to as a producer and engineer. I really do think that I have the best seat in the house when it comes to music. I get to collaborate and see the process occur as some of the most talented songwriters in the world develop their songs. Working with AJ Babcock and Pete Good has been a thrill and I'll always be proud of the work that I did on Nat Clubbs debut EP. The list would get long if I thanked everyone that I had the honor of working with this year in the studio.
This week brought a bunch of new names to the studio and among them was one of my favorite Nashville based singer/songwriters, Jason White. I used to work as a bartender at a restaurant near the studio called Rumours, and thats where I was first introduced to his record, "The Longing." If you're wanting to learn what good songwriting sounds like, I would highly recomend picking it up.
